Fresh off a tremendously successful night of wrestling action in Toms River for the Pleasant Plains Fire Co., AWESOME will return to Toms River on Sept. 27 to prove once again why we are the leader in family entertainment pro wrestling shows. On Sept. 27 AWESOME will present a night of legends and champions. The list of legends set to appear on this show is a who’s who of wrestling’s elite as four major stars come together under one roof, including: WWE Legend the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santanna, former WWE World tag team champion Spirit Squad Mikey and ECW Original 911. Ted Dibiase, wolrd famous for his feuds with Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage in the late 80s has long said “everyone has a price for the Million Dollar Man”. On Sept 27 Mr. Dibiase says he come to AWESOME to invest in a current of the roster. Who does Mr. Dibiase have his eye on? And does this individual indeed of price for Mr. Dibiase? Ted Dibiase will also be available for Poloroids with the fans for a full hour before the start of the show so don’t miss a legend up close and personal. Meanwhile in the Main Event WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santanna, who appeared in the World Wrestling Federation from 1978-1993 winning two Intercontinental and two tag team titles will be in action. In addition for the first time ever in New Jersey Mr. McMahon’s chosen henchman from his feud Degenration-X 2 years ago, Spirit Squad Mikey will also be wrestling. And for the first time in four years ECW original and master of the chokeslam is coming out of retirement to compete for AWESOME.

In addition on Sept. 27 all five of AWESOME’s titles will be on the line including two huge stipulation matches when newly crowned Jersey Shore Cruiserweight Champion Dan Rageous defends his title against former partner Chris Banks in a ladder match! Plus following a viscious attack in Pleasant Plains by the Commune on MySpace Champion and Toms River hometown hero Mark Modest, Commissioner Joe Rules has announced that when Modest faces former champion Radical Robby Morrison it will be an I Quit Match.

Bedlam on the Battleship set for Oct 18

American Wrestling's Elite Stars Of Mat Entertainment (AWESOME) presents a very special unique once-in-a-lifetime pro wrestling show on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. onboard the fantail of the historic World War II era Battleship New Jersey now located at 62 Battleship Place in Camden, NJ 08103. This show, entitled "Bedlam on the Battleship", will be a fund-raiser for the Battleship New Jersey Museum. Doors will open to the public for seating at 6 p.m.

In the main event a flag match will be held as WWE and WCW Legend "America's Hero" The Patriot teams up with Desert Storm veteran Section 8 to represent the Good Ol USofA and take on the team of Latin Revolution (Tony Torres & Antonio Rivera) as they represent the Domican Republic. The Patriot is an internationally known pro wrestling superstar bursting on the national scene in 1991 for ESPN's Global Wrestling, the Patriot became the first ever North American Champion winning a tournament that included Demolition Ax, Sweet Stan Lane, Terry Gordy, Cactus Jack and numerous other legends. He was so impressive he was also named Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Rookie of the Year and Inspirational Wrestler of the Year simultaenously. After a three year tour of Japan, Patriot was next seen by fans on national TV in Ted Turner's WCW where he formed a tag team known as Stars & Stripes with Buff Bagwell. The duo captured the WCW tag team titles defeating the team of Pretty Wonderful (Paul Orndorff & Paul Roma). Perhaps his most famous run occurred in 1997 when Patriot arrived in the WWE and battled Bret "Hitman" Hart for the WWE Championship in the main event of the September Pay Per View that year entitled "Ground Zero". Most recently Patriot has toured the Good Ol USA thrilling fans and seeking out the best competition in Independent wrestling. This search to face the best has led "America's Hero" to AWESOME where he can face the Elite Stars of Mat Entertainment who ply their trade here.

In addition fans are eagerly awaiting the debut of the Guitar Heroes! The tradition of rock & wrestling dates back to the 1980s with Hulk Hogan, Cyndi Lauper and MTV. Inspired by the 80s rock & wrestling the Guitar Heroes have formed a three-man hair metal band but with a new millenium twist in both ring style and videogame party attitude. Just who is this trio and will they keep the fans rocking or will the veteran trio of Dirty Don Montoya and the Sneaky Silver Bullets spoil the party before it gets started?
