FROM THE DESK OF THE COMMISSIONER....

My fellow Americans,

Welcome to the second edition of From The Desk Of The Commissioner. I appreciate all the positive feedback I received from my first column, so if you have any questions or comments or you just want to let me know what's on your mind, be sure to drop me a line at JWARules@aol.com.

Our August 30th event in Toms River, New Jersey was truly a history-making event. Two vacant championships were decided that evening, and the show also featured a spectacular main event between the recently released WWE ECW Superstar Colin Delaney and TNA's "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal.

I am pleased to report that Radical Robby Morrison has gone two straight shows now without throwing up in the ring; his underhanded tactics, however, make us ALL want to throw up.

Congratulations to the new Jersey Shore Cruiserweight Champion Dan Rageous, who was able to defeat Canuk Chris Banks in a best-two-out-of-three falls encounter to capture the vacant title. As a former ECPW Light Heavyweight and PCW Junior Heavyweight Champion myself, I am fully aware of the true value that a cruiserweight division brings to AWESOME and look forward to seeing Dan Rageous follow in the footsteps of lightweight legends such as Denny Brown and Mike Jackson.

Congratulations are also in order for the first-ever Jersey Shore Elite Tag Team Champions The Society of Venture. Lord Jasin Karloff & Preacher John Cannon emerged victorious over the teams of Deimos & Diego De La Rosa (managed by none other than Liz Savage) and Steve Zapf & Jay Blaze in a three-way elimination bout. This was originally scheduled to be a four-team elimination match, and things might have turned out very differently if the fourth team had been involved. Unfortunately, The Sneaky Silver Bullets were rear-ended on the way to the show and were unable to attend. They were also in a minor car accident.

There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that ring announcer Madame Zelinka is my wife.

Taylor Nicole continues to be one of the most dominant forces in women's professional wrestling. She is not only AWESOME's Jersey Shore Women's Champion, she also holds women's gold in FOUR other promotions! It hasn't been easy to line up challengers for the angry hippie, but there are several hot prospects out there looking for a shot, including a young lady who was backstage at our Toms River event.

I have to say it: despite the downpour, despite the threat of thunder and lightning, Colin Delaney vs. Jay Lethal was, well, AWESOME! As Commissioner, I intend to do everything in my power to sign a rematch when schedules for all parties permit.

Our return to Toms River on September 27 will be without a doubt our biggest show to date. We have no less than four special guest stars you'll see in action: The "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana, Mikey of The Spirit Squad, and ECW Original 911!

Two huge matches have also been signed thus far. Chris Banks get his rematch for the Cruiserweight Title when he faces Dan Rageous in a Ladder Match! PLUS, Mark Modest defends his MySpace Title against The Commune's Robby Morrison in an "I Quit!" Match. Tapping out isn't enough. You must actually say the words, "I Quit!"

It would be music to my ears to hear that come out of Radical Robby's mouth.

Until next time, this is your Commissioner saying good-bye from the Garden State! I'm Joe Rules, and I approved this message.
