John Cannon arrived in AWESOME as part of the Championship of AWESOME tournament held on the One Year Anniversary, where his desire to inflict brutality on his opponnents led to a double countout and double elimination from the tournament when he faced Justin Corino in the first round.

Shortly thereafter Cannon met up with fellow gothic warrior of pain Lord Jasin Karloff and the two of them formed the tag team known as the Society of Ventrue. The dark duo has already been entered into the Jersery Shore Elite Tag Team Championship match set for Summer Heat. Can they become AWESOME's first ever tag team champions?
