Jay Blaze

The story of Jay Blaze is one of the most inspiring stories of any athlete on the AWESOME roster. Jay began his career in 2001 and quickly made a name for himself as one of the most exciting cruiserweights in wrestling. But then in 2004 Jay suffered a back injuury and was told he would never wrestle again.

Fast forward to January 2007. AWESOME officials hired Jay to be a commentator out of respect for his great ring skills and knowledge of holds. But in the ensuing months of watching the tremendous action here in AWESOME, Jay decided to test his back out again. After an escalating series of athletic tests Jay got his clearance to return to the ring and made it a comeback for the ages when he defeated an old foe - - the massive 330 lb. Playboy Vik Voorhees. Now Blaze is once again ready to burn his way to the top of professional wrestling!
